Hard to argue with this.

Current Dallas Cowboys/former Chicago Bears assistant connected to Signature Pharmacy

Send News
*Updated*

Wade Wilson who had an 18-year NFL career for multiple teams, primarily as a backup received both HGH and steroids from Signature from 2004-2006 according to this Newsday Article

The article suggests that more names are going to come out eventually, which is something that I've velieved for awhile now. I also believe that this goes beyond the WWE and the NFL and will be hitting other sports as time passes.

I have deamed the scandal to be newsworthy enough across all lines to devote coverage to it which extends beyond the WWE in to other sports which are not regularly covered on our site.

Updated:
Wilson suspended for 5 games He said he took the drugs to improve his quality of life after suffering from diabetes for 20 years.

If that's true, then why did he need to get this stuff from an internet pharmacy in the first place?

New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison gets 4 game ban for use of HGH

He's the first NFL player to fall in this investigation (mark it down, unless I'm missing my guess, he's not going to be the last).

I suspect that other sports leagues will also sooner or later be dealing with this issue.

WWE had just better hope Barney Fife doesn't read the Washington Post

Send News

I'd say it is safe to assume that at least one of the Barney Fifes in Congress has a staff member who could read this article which may be the best article I've seen in quite some time.

I loved this quote from Dr. Black who apparently moonlights as camp director for Camp Krusty.

Black and McDevitt say they do not know of a link or any pattern to the deaths of professional wrestlers over the years.

"People see things that are a coincidence that leads them to reach grand conclusions that are not supported by scientific analysis," says WWE's Black, a
forensic scientist. "You have to be very cautious about this kind of information," he says.

Black and McDevitt point out that only five men -- including Guerrero and Benoit -- have died while under WWE contract during the organization's 44-year

So all these guys who happen to share the same profession, some of them dying from the exact same thing, and all at young ages in a span of a decade is just a series of coincidences. I completely understand why WWE hired him now. I hope Ric's assessment of this other situation ends up proven correct.

Congress wants WWE's drug testing documents

Send News

ESPN article

Congress has sent WWE a letter asking for all sorts of drug testing documentation.

Given this quote from Gary Davis a few days ago, I'm sure WWE is doing litteral cartwheels in an effort to quickly hand over the information.

We applaud the efforts of government officials to shut down the illegal
use of steroids and those doctors who illegally prescribe them.
