Two suspended for Wellness violations

Send News and Event Results

11/1 was the day all of this stuff would be made public by WWe. They wasted No Time announcing suspensions for D.H. Smith and Chris Masters. Smith is out 30 days while Masters is gone for 60.

In the case of Masters, he just came off a 30 day suspension.

Names linked to Signature Pharmacy starting to come out...

Send News

Earlier today we noted that WWE has suspended 10 wrestlers under its wellness policy for their connections to signature farmasy. Some of the names connected to Signature are starting to come out...
ESPN.com's story lists some, and
The New York Daily News lists more. We actually have more names than people suspended...thus far. and just because a name is listed doesn't mean they were one of the 10 suspended, WWE has not released that information at this time. It also doesn't mean that those 10 will be the extent of the suspensions when it is all said and done.

  1. Funaki
  2. Batista
  3. John Morrison
  4. Chris Masters
  5. Shane Helms
  6. Randy Orton
  7. Booker T
  8. Charlie Haas
  9. Edge
  10. Mike "Simon Dean" Bucci
  11. Santino
  12. Chavo Guerrero
  13. William Regal
  14. Ken Kennedy

Dave Meltzer notes that some of these perscriptions predate the wellness policy, which is why in fairness to Ken Kennedy, I have removed the text that initially appeared here.

Anyone that is suspended for crimes committed before the introduction of the Wellness policy would probably have a good grievence should they choose to pursue it but WWE is under a lot of pressure from the government (who probably knew these names already) and it would've looked bad had they not acted.

Meltzer seems to suggest even more names have yet to come out.
