Special development blog to host all the action as Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling fans go online to vote, brainstorm and win!
Nashville, Tennessee (October 19, 2007) – Wrestling fans are finally getting a chance to step into the ring – virtually speaking – and make their voice
heard to help Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling develop its first DVD Board Game. Fans can participate in online voting for the box cover, brainstorming
game ideas and have access to exclusive sneak peaks.
TNA and Game Development Company Ltd. (“GDC”), the developers of the new game, are giving fans the access and influence that only the TNA superstars are
used to getting. A specially designed development blog at
www.tnadvdgame.com
will serve as the hub for wrestling fans to get involved in making the TNA DVD Board Game a distinct and exciting experience for all.
“Partnering with GDC to create a DVD board game is an unprecedented opportunity for us to interact with the best fans in professional wrestling in developing
a unique product while leveraging our significant online presence,” said Dixie Carter, TNA President. Fans can immediately start posting game play
ideas on the blog. Fans are also encouraged to submit a name for the game, from which TNA and GDC will choose three finalists for a final vote by fans.
The winner will receive an exclusive prize pack and bragging rights.
In addition fans will be able to participate in: − voting for their favorite TNA stars to be featured on the box cover; − polling to choose the cover art
for the game; − submit game play ideas; − exclusive sneak peeks and screen shots; − following the development of the game; − and chances to win exclusive
prize packs.
“Engaging fans online in developing a DVD Board Game is a radical new approach,” said Vatche Torossian, President, GDC. “TNA is putting fans first and
letting them tell us how they want to play and experience TNA excitement at home.”
Promotion for getting fans to participate in the development of the game will take place through TNA Today, one of the world’s most viewed Internet programs,
the TNA iMPACT! TV show and the TNA website.
