NWA Upstate/Empire Star Wins NWA National Heavyweight Title
This past Saturday at the NWA Top Rope show in Lebanon, Tennessee, NWA Upstate star and NWA Empire Heavyweight Champion Pepper Parks defeated "Hot Chocolate"
Kory Williams to become the new NWA National Heavyweight Champion. The title was declared vacant when the former champion, Chance Prophet, was stripped
of the title due to a broken leg and being unable to defend the title. Parks got the pin with a rollup out of a sunset flip in a 20 minute match that many are calling
a mat classic. This gives Parks a lot of momentum going into NWA Upstate's Holiday Hangover Saturday, November 24th where the dual champion will be facing
TNA star and LAX member "The Notorious 187" Homicide. It is unknown whether either of Parks' titles will be on the line, but regardless it should make
