NSAC declares bout at WEC 30 to be a No Contest

Donald Cerrone who was victorious over Kenneth Alexander in his debut for World Extreme Cagefighting on Sept. 5 was fined $2,400 and suspended for 8 months after testing positive for the diuretic hydrochlorozide.
He has also seen his victory over Alexander switched to a no contest. Cerrone told MMA weekly that he took the diuretic to flush out his system after a bout with staff infection that also resulted in a case of shingles.

Cerrone becomes the second fighter to have a decision turned to a No Contest by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
The first is everyone's favorite Marijuana advocate in MMA, Nick Diaz after he tested positive after his fight against Takanori Gomi back at Pride 33 in February.
