Kind of ironic given our last question, although I guess this is his only his first failure. However, Nakamura tested positive for marijuana at UFC 76 on Saturday. He should've waited to smoke the weed until he sat down to watch the tape of his fight...dull the pain.
$500 fine and 3 months off for Kaz.
Standard opporating procedure around here is to call Nakamura a moron for failing a test he should've known was coming.
However, Nakamura can take comfort in the fact that he's not Mike Vick who decided while he was waiting to be sentenced in the whole dog fighting thing that it would be a good idea to get high even though he's subject to drug testing. Yep, he failed!
After squandering superstardom, millions of dollars and becoming a football outcast. Then to celebrate 420 on a day other than 04/20 with the possibility of being testing hanging over head, to call Vick a moron simply doesn't go far enough.
So next to Vick Nakamura looks like a Saint.
Nakamura was the only person to fail for street drugs on UFC 76 and all were tested. The steroids tests aren't back yet.
