ECW FOUNDER TOD GORDON EXPLAINS HIS THEORY ON WHY VINCE MCMAHON DILUTED THE ECW NAME

By WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

Pro Wrestling Unplugged Owner and ECW Founder Tod Gordon joined James Guttman on ClubWWI.com today for a massive 70 minute shoot interview. During the discussion, the man who introduced you to ECDub and continues the Unplugged tradition today talked about a wide variety of subjects related to the wrestling industry.. Topics included the story behind Shane Douglas throwing down the NWA Title, Joey Styles in his underwear, PWU Surge TV, Eric Bischoff's statements on ECW, PWU's Commissioner Idol, Suing WWE, One Night Stand, Sting and Vader in ECW, and much more.

One topic that came up in the ClubWWI.com talk was "The New ECW." James says that while Vince McMahon has every right to do it, it never made sense to give his new brand the initials "ECW." Guttman says it's like starting a boy band and calling them Pantera. Gordon said he had a theory on the reason why it happened:

"I can't tell you what's in (Vince McMahon's) mind, but there is a theory that I have had in the last year or so. He always hated the fact that at his shows, in front of 20,000 people, as opposed to the thousand or two thousand that we would run in front of, people would yell ECW when they liked something. That became synonymous in this business with saying, "We like this." Not just a hardcore spot. Anything. It was off-the-charts different. Whenever they'd yell "ECW, ECW," it made Vince crazy. Because we were like the so-called innovator back then and he hated the fact that everyone in his building, that he paid for, people were yelling someone else's call letters. And no one had ever done that. No one was at anyone else's shows yelling "WWF" or "WCW." They didn't understand what the concept was. They didn't understand that they weren't saying, "Yes. ECW is the greatest thing in the world." They were saying, "We like this. This is good stuff." That was their way of approval… Slowly but surely, you'll notice, very rarely anymore will you be at a WWE show and hear them start yelling "ECW" because of some crazy, sick table spot or fire spot. He's finally started to get that out of the lexicon. It'll always be part of the lexicon…but he made people think that's what ECW is. And why would you want to chant "ECW, ECW" when ECW is all about Kelly Kelly and Miz? It's not what they wanted."

Tod's discussion on this subject also included talk of how ECW tried to copy the fan chanting concept, the first ECW Sci Fi Show, One Night Stand, why it was doomed, and more. His entire 70 minute shoot is up now on ClubWWI.com.

Don't forget, besides Tod, there's 90 other interviews to listen to as well. Among the other interviews available on ClubWWI.com are Kevin Nash, Samoa Joe, Eric Bischoff, Jerry Lawler, Vince Russo, Nick "U-Gene" Dinsmore, Christian Cage, Sycho Sid, , Diamond Dallas Page, La Resistance, The Steiner Brothers, Tammy Lynn Sytch, AJ Styles, John Heidenreich, Demolition, Paul Bearer, Bobby Heenan, Ted DiBiase, Road Warrior Animal, The Iron Sheik, Rhino, Tito Santana, Earl Hebner, Charlie Haas, Christy Hemme, Chris Daniels, and many more. TAMMY SYTCH REVEALS THE STORY BEHIND THE BRET HART-SHAWN MICHAELS "SUNNY DAYS" CONTROVERSY
By WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

ClubWWI.com has welcomed rookie divas, hopeful divas, and even retired divas. Today, we welcomed the original Diva.

One of wrestling's most successful and controversial female personalities ever, Tammy Lynn Sytch, stopped by ClubWWI.com for an explosive interview. Living up to her reputation as someone who doesn't sugar-coat anything, the former Sunny spoke about a number of topics with James Guttman including getting screwed over by Paul Heyman, Vince McMahon playing a woman, frustration with overly grief stricken fans, The New ECW, bombing her first WWF tryout, "The Perfect Couple," today's Divas, the worst mistake of her career, the woman who doesn't deserve a mention, her backstage role in the original ECW, her fascination with midgets, and more.

One of the most interesting subjects addressed during this no-holds-barred ClubWWI.com shoot was the Bret Hart-Shawn Michaels controversy. One of the biggest moments from that battle included Shawn claiming that Bret was seeing some "Sunny Days" recently. This lead to a huge blowout and all sorts of allegations thrown regarding Hart's relationship with Sytch. James asked Tammy about this and she responded:

"Nobody knew this but….Shawn and I had a nine month relationship. As soon as we stopped seeing each other, all of a sudden, for some reason he got in his warped mind that I was seeing Bret Hart. I have no idea where he got this from. Nobody has any idea where he got this from cause I wasn't. Not at all. Bret and I were friends. I think it kinda came about, Bret Hart is a loner. He really does his own thing. The whole lone wolf thing is really him. He doesn't like to be around the boys. So a lot of the times on the road, when I was the only girl on the road, I had my own locker room. Well, Bret had asked me, "Do you mind if I change in your locker room because I really don't want to be around the guys?" I said, "Not at all. It's no big deal." I mean, I'm not in there the whole time anyway, just to change. So basically, my locker room became Bret and Sunny's Locker Room. When I wasn't in there, he was in there. When he wasn't in there, I was in there. It was no big deal. It was understood. He wanted his privacy, he didn't want to be around the guys. Well, a lot of people took that as "Oh, they must be doing something," when it absolutely was not. So Shawn got it in his head that something was going on and that gave him some ammunition against Bret 'cause they actually hated each other. "

Tammy goes on to say that she wasn't even in the building the day that the "Sunny Days" line was first mentioned by Shawn and was surprised to know her name was involved. She also goes on to talk about Michaels today, whether she's spoken to him since, and more in her ClubWWI.com interview.

Don't forget, there's close to 90 other interviews to listen to as well. Among the other interviews available on ClubWWI.com are Kevin Nash, Samoa Joe, Eric Bischoff, Jerry Lawler, Vince Russo, Christian Cage, Sycho Sid, , Diamond Dallas Page, La Resistance, The Steiner Brothers, AJ Styles, John Heidenreich, Demolition, Paul Bearer, Bobby Heenan, Ted DiBiase, Road Warrior Animal, The Iron Sheik, Rhino, Tito Santana, Earl Hebner, Charlie Haas, Christy Hemme, Chris Daniels, and many more. Plus audio shows from D-Lo Brown, Bull Buchanan, Kevin Kelly, Orlando Jordan, and Dr. Tom Prichard.

JESSICA HATCH TALKS ABOUT HER SHOCK OVER BEING ELIMINATED FROM THE WWE DIVA SEARCH LAST NIGHT

JESSICA HATCH TALKS ABOUT HER SHOCK OVER BEING ELIMINATED FROM THE WWE DIVA SEARCH LAST NIGHT
By WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

Last night, the 2007 WWE Diva Search saw one of its most surprising eliminations yet. Jessica Hatch, who has been everywhere lately, was the latest casualty of Diva war. Less than 24 hours following her departure from the competition, Jessica joined James Guttman on ClubWWI.com to discuss being voted out of the contest. James asked her about hearing the news and she answered:

"I was in total shock, to be honest with you. I just was really getting myself out there and doing everything I can to let the fans know who I am and just the type of person I am altogether. Because it's one thing to look at pictures, you know, and us running around and our bodies and this and that. But it's another to know us individually, that's hard to do and that's what I was trying to make happen…..by traveling to events and trying to pass out flyers to promote myself and try to talk to people. I was very surprised to have this happen. I'm still all in and still fighting to the end until I'm the next WWE Diva."

Jessica Hatch's aspirations for wrestling aren't over by a long shot. Much like Taryn Terrell (who joined ClubWWI for an interview on Sunday), Jessica joined the Diva Search because she's a fan of wrestling. Her ultimate goal remains to become a part of WWE and she speaks about that in today's discussion. Also, she talks about Johnny Ace, Dream Reunion, her athletic background, Candice Michele, Torrie Wilson, and more.

Don't forget, there's over 85 other interviews to listen to as well. Among the other interviews available on ClubWWI.com are Kevin Nash, Samoa Joe, Eric Bischoff, Jerry Lawler, Vince Russo, Christian Cage, Sycho Sid, , Diamond Dallas Page, La Resistance, The Steiner Brothers, AJ Styles, John Heidenreich, Demolition, Paul Bearer, Bobby Heenan, Ted DiBiase, Road Warrior Animal, The Iron Sheik, Rhino, Tito Santana, Earl Hebner, Charlie Haas, Christy Hemme, Chris Daniels, and many more. 2007 DIVA SEARCH'S TARYN TERRELL SHOOTS ON STACY KIEBLER AND OTHERS WHO USE WRESTLING TO GET TO HOLLYWOOD

2007 DIVA SEARCH'S TARYN TERRELL SHOOTS ON STACY KIEBLER AND OTHERS WHO USE WRESTLING TO GET TO HOLLYWOOD
By WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

The 2007 WWE Diva Search is down to the final five and ClubWWI.com has just welcomed one of the remaining hopefuls, Taryn Terrell, to the Insanity for an interview that's anything but fluff. Taryn spoke about everything including being warned about Randy Orton, TNA, the WWE diva she was warned about, Shawn Michaels, Christy Hemme, backlash against previous Diva searches, understanding why that was, posing for Playboy, and more.

Taryn, who is a former power lifter and cheerleader, said that her number one goal is to become WWE Women's Champion. As opposed to other divas that may want a career in Hollywood, Terrell is here for the wrestling. When James Guttman asked her whether she'd remain in the business even if she didn't wind up with a WWE contract, she said she would and responded with some open and biting comments:

"Absolutely. I wanna stay in the business. I see people like the whole Stacy Kiebler thing and it's almost like, you know, she used it to get herself in the entertainment industry. She's trying to be an actress…which obviously is not working out too well. But, yeah, I want to stay in the business and of course, I want to stay with WWE."

Taryn Terrell is one of the five remaining contestants in this year's Diva search. Hear her thoughts about her experience and the entire business as a whole right now on ClubWWI.com. No topic was avoided and, chances are, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the honesty and intelligence of this hopeful.

Don't forget, there's over 85 other interviews to listen to as well. Among the other interviews available on ClubWWI.com are Sid Vicious, Eric Bischoff, Jerry Lawler, Vince Russo, John Heidenreich, Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page, La Resistance, The Steiner Brothers, AJ Styles, Demolition, Paul Bearer, Bobby Heenan, Ted DiBiase, Road Warrior Animal, The Iron Sheik, Rhino, Tito Santana, Earl Hebner, Charlie Haas, Christy Hemme, Chris Daniels, and many more. "THE FORMER EUGENE" NICK DINSMORE TALKS ABOUT HIS DESIRE TO JOIN TNA NOW THAT IMPACT IS TWO HOURS
By WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

The wrestler formerly known as "Eugene" in WWE, Nick Dinsmore, joined James Guttman on ClubWWI.com for an in-depth shoot interview about all aspects of his career. In the 38 minute discussion, Nick talked about everything including his abandoned heel turn against Jim Duggan, The OVW Originals, appearing in WCW, working with Hulk Hogan and The Rock, pitching "Eugene" to the McMahons, and much more. No topic was off limits as Dinsmore spoke openly and honestly about a number or subjects in one of his most in-depth interviews to date.

One topic that Nick didn't mince words about was his feelings on TNA and whether he'd join them now that they've secured a two hour slot on Spike TV (starting Thursday). James asked him about it, but added that he knew Dinsmore couldn't say much. Turns out he was wrong about that. Very straightforward, U-Gene answered:

"Yeah. I'd be very interested in going to TNA. I've watched their program a bunch over the past year and now that they're going to two hours, I feel like it's going to give them a chance to expand upon the talent that they have on their roster. Yeah. I'm just waiting for the opportunity to have any kind of discussion with them or talk to them in any way, to hopefully work for TNA."

This ClubWWI.com interview didn't end there. The man formerly known as "Eugene" Nick Dinsmore spoke about a ton of topics including being saved by Hulk Hogan, tagging with the Rock, his relationship with William Regal, who came up with "Super Eugene," Danny Davis, Owen Hart, Chris Benoit's legacy, the OVW Originals, learning from Eric Bischoff, The British Bulldogs, the reason for his WWE release, how he knew he's be getting his haircut, his brief time with WCW, Rob Conway, The Bashams, his abandoned heel turn, and so much more.

Nick Dinsmore is just one of over 85 stars on ClubWWI.com. Among the other interviews available on ClubWWI.com are Sid Vicious, Eric Bischoff, Jerry Lawler, Vince Russo, John Heidenreich, Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page, La Resistance, The Steiner Brothers, AJ Styles, Demolition, Paul Bearer, Bobby Heenan, Ted DiBiase, Road Warrior Animal, The Iron Sheik, Rhino, Tito Santana, Earl Hebner, Charlie Haas, Christy Hemme, Chris Daniels, and many more. IN HIS FIRST AUDIO SHOOT EVER, DAMIAN DEMENTO REVEALS THE ORIGINAL NAME AND GIMMICK HE PITCHED VINCE MCMAHON

IN HIS FIRST AUDIO SHOOT EVER, DAMIAN DEMENTO REVEALS THE ORIGINAL NAME AND GIMMICK HE PITCHED VINCE MCMAHON
By WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

This week, ClubWWI.com had to go pretty far to find a guest. James Guttman journeyed just past "Parts Unknown," right beside "The Bottomless Pit," just shy of "Dudleyville," all the way to "The Outer Reaches Of Your Mind." It was there that he found Damian Demento.

Remembered by many fans as one of the WWF's most recognizable characters from the early '90s and half of the main event for Monday Night Raw's first ever broadcast (against the Undertaker), Demento has long left the wrestling industry and hasn't given an audio shoot interview since…well, ever. That is until now.

In one of the many subjects discussed, Damien revealed to James the first name and gimmick he pitched to the WWF before he joined them in the early '90s:

"The tape that I had sent the WWF at the time…I actually put on a black shirt with a little white collar so I looked like a priest. And I still had the same goatee and the little ponytail in the back. So it was real like sinister looking. Like an evil priest, you know? The name I gave them was Father Tarot, you know, like tarot reading cards….So that was what I originally introduced but they liked the Mondo Kleen look, you know, the character. And they just wanted to create a name that was just a bit more commercial."

Damian explains why he couldn't use that Father Tarot gimmick on the Indy scene at the time and how Vince McMahon and Pat Patterson settled on "Damian Demento" just moments before his in-ring debut.

This interview lasted for 43 minutes on ClubWWI and included Damian's take on Main Eventing The First Monday Night Raw, Undertaker's Unwillingness To Plan Spots For The Match, The Bushwhackers, The Royal Rumble 1993, Being The First Guy In The Ring After Giant Gonzalez Showed Up, A Unique Spot He Wanted To Work With Bret Hart, Early Memories of Tazz and Tommy Dreamer, Big Vito, Doing His Laundry As Damian Demento, Vince McMahon, His Art on Youtube, How He Got His Name, The "Spiked Shoulderpads," Mondo Kleen, WCW, "The Outer Reaches Of Your Mind," Today's Wrestling, His Scene in Die Hard 3, His Retirement, "The Bums," Training Under Johnny Rodz, Wrestlers Dying Young and much more.

Remember, www.ClubWWI.com is your home for the rarest and most diverse interviews around. Over 85 guests with extended interviews are standing by right now including Jerry "The King" Lawler, Eric Bischoff, Vince Russo, Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, Christian Cage, The Steiner Brothers, Sid Vicious, La Resistance, Demolition, The Iron Sheik, A.J.
