What's Up Ya Hooligan?? For 9/21/07
Welcome to the Combat-Hooligans.com weekly wrap-up as we go over what's been going on with the site.
As we head towards another busy weekend of pro wrestling and mixed martial arts event coverage, this week had its share of coverage and news to keep you, the readers updated with what's going on in the world of combat sports.
This past weekend saw a variety of live coverage as our staff covered Showtime's EliteXC "Uprising" show from Honolulu, Pro Wrestling Unplugged's Diamond Anniversary and WWE's Unforgiven pay-per-view, also this week we had live coverage of UFC Fight Night 11.
We have more live event coverage going on this weekend as we'll be covering UFC 76, Cage Rage 23 and also a live report from Chikara's "Cibernetico & Robin" pro wrestling event.
Our week began with Combat-Hooligans.com getting plugged on Figure 4 Weekly's Bryan & Vinny show and the AngryMarks.com podcast, we appreciate their efforts to help spread the word about our site.
And speaking of audio shows unfortunately we were unable to record a podcast this week but will return next week with a brand new episode of the Combat-Hooligans.com podcast.
In the meantime our pal Ric Gillespie of CanvasChronicle.com conducted an interview this week with an up-and-coming wrestling talent named Koa-Marie who is currently training at the WWE developmental territory OVW.
And Combat-Hooligans.com staff member Art Shimko was a co-host on The Dark Match radio show hosted by Combat-Hooligans.com columnist Wacko Bob, the subject of discussion on the 100+ minute show included WWE, Unforgiven, UFC, Hamill/Bisping, Tito Ortiz, Pride, Henderson/Jackson, WWE's lack of pushing talent during the suspensions of other wrestlers, tag teams, TNA, Triple H squashing people, why ECW should cease to exist, better use of the brand extension, the importance of one world title, one set of tag titles, Orton not getting suspended.
Our current site poll asks if MMA fighters who get suspended for repeat drug failures are morons, check it out and cast your vote regarding this issue.
