What is stumble upon?

Well, the way I can best explain it is like this. You download the Stumble Upon toolbar, select a topic set you're interested in, and hit stumble upon and it will take you to a random page related to that topic. I'm sure there's more to it than that, but them's the basics.

So, why is it on Combat-Hooligans.com? Stumble Upon has over 3.4 million users as of this writing and any of them that use the service interested in the stuff found on this here website can now come to it randomly.

How does this involve you? If you register for Stumble Upon which is free, or if you are already registered, you can go through and click the stumble upon icon that appears on every post. If you give it a good rating, then the more likely people will find it in random searching.

People finding our site just by happenstance increases our visibility which is ultimately good for the site. So if you're already a user, consider using it to get us some attention. If you're not, consider registering so you can help us out.

Staff is especially encouraged to register, more promotion for you wrok the wider the audience to see it.

If Stumble Upon is good enough for a great man like Karl Stern who uses it a lot for his daily news updates at KarlStern.com, then it should be good enough for us.

Anything you can do to promote the site be it stumble upon, posting blogs and bulletins on Myspace, shilling our work on other forums, whatever it may be, we encourage you to do so.

Art and I have done a lot and I mean a lot of promotional work in the past week but we can't do it alone, so anything you can do is greatly appreciated.
