Ok, here's how this got started: If you click here and read posts 363-366 as I write this you'll see a statistical argument involving the probability of correctly predicting the outcomes of fights.

From this sprang an idea, and never let it be said that I'm not a whore for any gimmick idea I can find.

So, in September we will have the combat-hooligans.com Vs. coins contest.

The rules are:

1. 9 scheduled events in September for predictions:
   
   1. WEC 30
      
   2. UFC 75
      
   3. TNA No Surrender
      
   4. EXC 'Uprising
      
   5. WWE Unforgiven
      
   6. UFC Fight Night 11
      
   7. IFL Championship Series
      
   8. Cage Rage 23 'Unbelievable
      
   9. UFC 76
   
   
2. Participation is not manditory for the staff but would be appreciated.
   
3. For each member of the staff, who participates, each event you predict, pick every match and also flip a coin. In your predictions post, right down your prediction and right down who your coin predicted would win making sure to indicate which is which for ease of my keeping track..
   
4. You need not use the same exact coin each time though if you are superstitious, feel free.
   
5. I'll keep track of how you do as compared to your coin.
   
6. Standard coins only, using a 2-headed coin would be really stupid here
   
7. At the end of the month, I'll see how we all did as compared to our coins.

Anyone who loses to their coin, will be mocked and that especially applies if I lose to my coin.

I'm not doing this so much to prove a point, but to satisfy my own curiosity. I thank anyone on the site who joins me in this contest.

If this proves to be a popular or fun enough activitiy, every september could be hooligans Vs. money month.
