Mike Bucci, AKA Nova, AKA Simon Dean, is reported by Dave Scherer of PwInsider.com to have been let go from his position in WWE.

Bucci, who left his career as an active wrestler for the spot in management had been in charge of overseeing the WWE's Developmental System, working out of the offices of Johnny Ace and talent relations.


Bucci's name had been connected to Signature Pharmacy and the internet prescription scandal that is doing a number on the WWE this week.

The sentiment is that Bucci was expendable and that's why he was fired. Kind of a way to send a message without really sending a message. It is hard, for me, to disagree with that assessment.

Perhaps, if he were still a wrestler, he would've only been suspended, thus giving everyone time to rethink moving to management. The political games don't end backstage, they exist on the corporate level of pretty much every company.
