JAMIE MYER FIGHT PROMOTIONS PRESENT : REPEAT OR REVENGE?!

FRIDAY NIGHT NOVEMBER 2ND AT SOUTHPORT RSL

After months of negotiations Queensland's leading promoter Jamie Myer has secured the Australian heavyweight title clash between long time rivals Colin Wilson and Bob Mirovic.

The ten round grudge match will take place on Friday night November 2nd at the Southport RSL. This will be the fifth fight between veterans, two of the toughest and most proven heavyweights in the Southern Hemisphere over the past ten years.

With Wilson yet to beat his nemeses and with his title on the line, the Central Queensland coal miner will be putting everything into gaining revenge, after challenging for the IBF Inter Continental Title in Germany this year.

Mirovic, who had an epic battle for the WBF world heavyweight title with American Rob Calloway on the Gold Coast in 2005, recently lost a decision to former IBF world champion Frans Botha in South Africa. He won't be taking Wilson lightly, as he knows the champion will be out for revenge, and the NSW icon know as the “Big Bear” has been on the Gold Coast this week sparring with former Aussie champion Nathan Briggs.

Co headlining the November 2nd card will be talented junior welterweight Lance Gostelow (Australia # 3). Melbourne based Gostelow, who was born in North Queensland, will be coming up against Sydney based Filipino Junmar Dulog (# 5 Australia) over eight rounds.

Noosa's Israel Kani, (Australian number 6) will go at it with Gold Coaster William Hardcore Hadlow, (Australian number 8) in an eight round middleweight battle, Robina's Nicholas Svidas junior faces Southport's Les Piper for the state super middleweight title also over eight rounds.
