WXW Newsline: Afa Jr. Wins Title, Huge Elite 8 Update, More!

WXW would like to thank all the great fans who came out to our two huge events this past weekend in Allentown, PA and Palmer, PA. The weekend of action
was part of our ultra-successful “Halloween Mayhem” tour, and, as always, WXW delivered all of the exciting wrestling action that fans have come to expect.
RAGE TV cameras were rolling for both events, and you can witness all the happenings in upcoming weeks on our television (check your local listings) and
internet broadcasts (wxwwrestling.com).

The grand finale of the “Halloween Mayhem” tour will happen this Saturday night, as we return to the Municipal Building in Coplay, PA. For the first time
ever, WXW will feature a CASKET MATCH! Plus, all of your favorite WXW superstars will be in the house, and lots of other Halloween festivities will take
place. Kids of all ages are encouraged to bring your signs and wear your Halloween Costumes as we celebrate the spookiest of seasons with a bang! For

After that, all roads lead back to Coplay on November 10th, as we prepare for the 2007 “Elite 8”, the BIGGEST night of women’s wrestling of the year!!
Here’s what we know thus far:

• As in past year’s, the Elite 8’s main attraction is an 8-woman tournament featuring the top female wrestlers in the world today. Classically a star-making
  event, former tournament entrants include WWE Women’s Champion BETH PHOENIX, TNA Women’s Champion GAIL KIM and TNA Knockouts TRACY BROOKS, ROXY LAVEAUX
  and ANGEL WILLIAMS.

• This year’s unique format looks to settle the debate as to who is superior: wrestling’s serious, hard-nosed female athletes or wrestling’s hottest Divas.
  Former Elite 8 winners MERCEDES MARTINEZ and ALICIA have been assigned to each select half of the entrants, with Alicia calling on the hotties and Martinez
  selecting the most serious athletes she can find.

• So far, Alicia has selected BECKY BAYLESS, ANNIE SOCIAL and ALEXA THATCHER, while Martinez has chosen former WXW Women’s Champion CINDY ROGERS and the
  Wild Samoan Training Center’s MONIQUE, who has vowed to recruit Martinez’ third pick on this week’s Rage TV! Who will it be?

• To add more fuel to the fire, SUNNY, wrestling’s ORIGINAL diva, will appear to meet all of her fans AND will serve as the special referee for the tournament
  finals!

• Just announced: in a special non-tournament bout, the WXW Women’s Championship WILL be defended as part of this extravaganza!

very special event, so make your plans early to join us. Congratulations to WXW Alumni and Samoan Family member AFA JR. for becoming the new FCW Southern
Heavyweight Champion in New Port Richey, FL on October 16th. Florida Championship Wrestling is the WWE’s newest developmental territory, and Afa Jr. now
stands atop the FCW mountain as their most dominant young superstar. We know that he will continue to represent WXW with pride as he continues his path
towards inevitable superstardom.
