WWE doesn't want to turn the documents over because it could lead to them getting sued.

That's like the kid that goes to his mom and says, "I don't want to tell you what happened in the back yard because I might get in trouble."

Call me crazy, but, in this instance, I agree with WWE's choice. To begin with, it's a frivolous battle, and I see no need for WWE to cooperate with stupid requests. If it's truly important (which they're not), a court will force WWE to hand over the necessary info (but I, like WWE, bet that doesn't happen).
