Lets just recap all of the stuff that has gone down or has supposedly gone down in San Francisco over the past 2 days with one still to go.
- -It is now believed that Lex Luger suffered a nerve impingement in his neck which led to temporary paralysis and he is still at Stanford hospital.
- -Saturday morning, wrestlers staged a mock sit-in at the hotel until they were paid what they were owed and that took more than 3 hours. It is believed that each was paid half in cash and half in check. Rumors are that the checks for everyone but Goldberg and Roddy Piper bounced.
- -The MMA show that was to be held in conjunction with this event was canceled. Reportedly, the CSAC was not satisfied with the way the cage was constructed. Plus, they sold all of 50 tickets.
- -The promoter of the MMA show told all the fighters that because it was canceled, none of them would be paid. This led to Don Frye getting in a fight with the bodyguard for Leland Chapman who is the son of Dog the Bounty Hunter.
These 2 men reportedly were pulled apart by police on 2 separate accasions.
- -The Ring of Honor show scheduled for tonight is still going to take place.
- -Steve Austin is going to appear today as well. He was paid up front and got his first class plane ticket in advance.
There is more that I've heard has gone down but I'm not going to say until I know for sure.
