TNA iMPACT Spoilers for 10/25
Send News and Event Results
Credit: David Tuthill / Wrestling Observer -Steiners & LAX d. Styles/Tomko & VKM. Ok opener.
-James Storm d. Eric Young. Jackie got bumped and Young went to check on her and turned into a superkick. Jackie and Storm yelled at each other after the
match.
-Fourway: Havok, Shark Boy, Sonjay Dutt and Petey Williams went to a No Contest when Team 3D ran out and beat them up. Bubba cut a promo on the X-Division
and him and DVon put Williams and Havok through tables with powerbombs.
-Kurt Angle d. Sting to win the World Title. Nash came out early in the match and sat at ringside. He got on the apron at one point and the as ref Andrew
Thomas was trying to get him down, he got bumped. Angle gave Sting an Angle Slam and Earl Hebner ran in and counted the three. Angle was announced as the
new champion, and him and Sting both got out of the ring. The two refs started arguing about the finish. Cornette came out and said he would take both
of their statements and make a decision later. Cornette and Tenay yelled at each other at the booth, and Tenay went in to the back with him.
-Awesome Kong d. Angel Williams. Short squash.
-Before the next match, Penzer had the hard cam side boo for about 30 seconds while the cameras filmed it. Also, during this break, they made everyone
from the off-camera bleachers move on camera, even though there were barely any empty spots. Of course, a bunch of people were stuck standing in the pit.
Several people I was with decided just to leave instead of dealing with the smell. I understand why TNA felt they had to do it, but it was retarded.
-Junior Fatu d. Bobby Roode. The Bobby Roode plant was at ringside again going crazy for him. Another ref bump. Roode threw Traci off the chair she was
sitting at and went to hit Fatu. Joe ran in, grabbed the chair, hit Roode with it, and Fatu hit the Rikishi Driver for the pin. Christian Cage was ringside
doing commentary for this match in lieu of Tenay.
-Cornette and Tenay come out. Cornette rules that because Nash never actually attacked Sting that Kurt Angle is still the TNA World Champion. He signs
the main event for Genesis. For the World Title, Kurt Angle will team with Kevin Nash to face Sting and a partner. The winner of the pinfall wins the belt.
This was not a typo. Sting comes out and guarantees "the champion at Genesis will not be Kurt Angle."
Xplosion Match: Rhino, Chris Harris, and Ron Killings d. XXX. Good, short match. Killings was super over. More dissension between Rhino and Harris after
the match.
Quick Thoughts: RUSSO~!
Note from Casey: How can the people who booked this TV show, and the people who booked Sunday's Pay Per View be the same group?
