IFL keeps one of its up-and-coming fighters in the fold

According to Sam Caplan the IFL has signed Seattle Tigersharks lightweight fighter Shad Lierley to a new contract. Lierley posted a 2-1 record for Maurice Smith's squad last season, his first in the league. His lone defeat was at the hands of Chris Horodecki in a bout held June 1. Lierly is also the top alternate in the IFL's Lightweight Grand Prix which starts on Nov. 3.
