Chris Benoit had major brain damage at the time of his death

Send News

In news that won't be good for the pro wrestling industry, results of tests on the brain of Chris Benoit came back showing that there was a lot of damage.

The findings are detailed in this ABC News Article and the focus on the wrestling industry has now just expanded beyond drugs. Concussions have been a major discussion point in the NFL over the past year and it is way past time to look at them in wrestling.

Concussions ended the career of Bret Hart and Chris Benoit had performed his diving headbutt for many years which was obviously not good for the brain.

This also has a direct impact on the matter of Benoit's estate but to me it is just sad the 2 families can't reach some kind of consensus in that regard. Both Nancy's parents and Benoit's family feel that his other children should be taken care of but it is beyond that where the disputes lie.

I'd expect another round of coverage, if maybe not as frequent as compared to when the story of the murder/suicide first broke.

So, assuming this medical mumbo-jumbo isn't a big load of crap (even though it is), what are the chances these injuries to Benoit's brain may have also been responsible for him having done kind and wholesome things? Just wondering.
