The Dangerous Women of Wrestling (D.W.O.W.) return to action Friday, August 31st 2007 for a live event, "Some Like It Hot II" at Alfie's Restaurant and Nightclub located at 2417 Welsh Road (in the Blue Grass Shopping Center) in Northeast Philadelphia, PA 19114 and can be reached by telephone at 215-671-1460.

Fans and media have been shocked with the last minute booking and announcement of a Dangerous Women of Wrestling live event show scheduled to take place in Northeast Philadelphia at Alfie's Restaurant and Nightclub, Friday, August 31st 2007, due to the fact that back in May of this year DWOW "released" their talent to work for other companies, and basically disbanded the company soon after. It has been rumored the company was sold to an unnamed individual(s)/company.

The following is a list of talent already confirmed to appear for The Dangerous Women of Wrestling, Friday, August 31st 2007 for "Some Like It Hot II" at Alfie's Restaurant and Nightclub: DWOW Women's World Champion CANDIE, DWOW THE MAES (TAYLOR, DAVEY, POPPA and their newest daughter to make her DWOW debut), MISSY SAMSONITE, JANA, LIZ SAVAGE, COMISSIONER SMOKE, ANGELA, THE NICE GUYS, TARA, LUCKY "THE CRIPPLE GUY", JUST JOE, and a few un-announced surprises. Expect more talent (old and new) to be announced early next week.

***This just added during the writing of this release, former Dangerous Women of Wrestling mainstay, the artist formerly known as TAI "KILLER" WEED... T.H.A.I. will appearing live at Alfie's Friday, August 31st 2007. Tai is featured on the National DVD release "Extremely Dangerous Women of Wrestling V2" out in stores and available through major retailers online such as Best Buy, FYE, Amazon and many others. T.H.A.I. will also be available for pictures and autographs at the event also.

This event is being recorded for DVD, Video on Demand (VOD) and will be used as a DWOW Television Taping. Doors open at 8 PM and bell time is 10 PM. You must be 21 or older (with proper id) to attend this event. Food and alcohol will be served all night.

The Dangerous Women of Wrestling will be selling all company merchandise including the National DVD's "Extremely Dangerous Women of Wrestling V1 & V2.

Fast Fact:
Alfie's Restaurant and Nightclub, was the former location of Dublin's Irish Pub. All total, three DWOW live events ran at Dublin's in 2004, the last coming in the summer, which ironically was the last DWOW live event show.
